Cleanliness
InterConsult21 © Factor in City Assessment
Clean
area and environment have direct impact on human being. A dirty
environment is bad for health and well being.
An ordinary person
may measure cleanliness by the existence of clean water, sewage and
recycling as well as the absence of dirt, waste, smell, dust, bacteria,
deteriorated food, insects and more.
An ordinary
person has the right to live in clean area. The standard of cleaning is
not far from the standard of a clean home. Cleanliness is covering,
however, home and it’s
surrounding. It covers humans,
animals, clothing, food, eating items (plates, pans, cups, etc.), other
movable objects, floors, windows, walls, toilets, etc.
Apparently, a national standard in comparison with
a global standard ought to consider the essential need for the ordinary
person.
Clean streets, working places, private and public places in any City is
very essential to the welfare of ordinary person. Hygiene, clean
hospitals, smoking free environment are part of the overall cleanliness
of a City.
In
factories and certain working places (e.g., medical production), extra
measurements should be applied. Industrial cleanliness, if it is not
living to a certain cleanliness standard may negatively affect a City.
InterConsult21’scale for cleanliness varies from
-5 (for a very dirty City) to 5 (for a very clean City).
