Natural
resources varies in nature and may be classified as renewable (fish,
forests, soil, water, wind, solar radiation) and non renewable / hard to
be renewable resources (oil, minerals, metals, etc.)
Both
forms of resources are parts of the National wealth of a City / Country
and they add value to the ordinary person at local, national and global
basis.
Natural
resources may diminish or vanish in the event consuming them at higher
rates then their replacement rate. Countries may abuse their Natural
Resources and utilize them as basis for industry instead of a hard to
replaced resources (e.g., animal hunting, forest cutting, oil
consumption, etc.).
InterConsult21’scale for Natural Resources varies from
-5 (for a City that abuses its National Resources) to 5 (for a City that
preserves its National Resources).
